1) About HAPI

HAPI is an Australian brand offering shower filtration products and related accessories designed to enhance everyday water experiences.

Throughout this website, “HAPI”, “we”, “us”, and “our” refer to HAPI. “You” refers to any user, visitor, or customer of this website.

These Terms apply to all interactions with our website, including browsing, purchasing, subscriptions, and content submissions.

2) Use of this website

We reserve the right to restrict or suspend access to our website if we believe these Terms have been breached.

3) Products & orders

All products are offered subject to availability. We may update product descriptions, pricing, or availability at any time without prior notice.

We take reasonable care to display products accurately; however, variations in colour or appearance may occur due to screen settings or lighting.

By placing an order, you confirm that all information provided is accurate and complete.

4) Installation responsibility

HAPI shower filters are designed for self-installation. It is the customer’s responsibility to:

  • follow installation instructions provided by HAPI
  • ensure compatibility with their shower system
  • use any required adapters correctly

HAPI is not responsible for damage, leaks, or performance issues arising from incorrect installation, misuse, or failure to follow instructions.

5) Subscriptions

If you purchase a subscription:

  • refill cartridges will be supplied automatically at the selected interval
  • at least one refill shipment must be received before cancellation
  • subscriptions can be managed or cancelled via your customer account before the next billing date
6) Intended use & wellness disclaimer

HAPI products are designed to support shower water quality and comfort.

They are not medical devices and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any health condition.

Individual experiences may vary depending on water supply, usage, and maintenance.

7) Maintenance & proper use

To ensure optimal performance:

  • filters should be replaced as recommended
  • only genuine HAPI refill cartridges should be used

HAPI is not responsible for reduced performance caused by improper maintenance or third-party components.

8) Communications

By providing your email address or phone number, you consent to receive:

  • essential communications relating to orders, deliveries, or subscriptions
  • optional promotional messages (which you may unsubscribe from at any time)

9) Reviews & user content

If you submit reviews, images, feedback, or other content to HAPI, you grant us permission to use that content for marketing or informational purposes across our platforms.

You confirm that your submissions:

  • are your own
  • do not infringe third-party rights
  • do not contain unlawful, misleading, or harmful material

We are not obligated to compensate for or respond to submissions.

10) Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • HAPI excludes all liability for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss, including but not limited to loss of enjoyment, loss of time, loss of use, or economic loss arising from the use or inability to use our products.
  • HAPI is not liable for any damage, loss, or injury arising from:
    • incorrect installation
    • use of the product contrary to instructions or warnings
    • use with incompatible shower systems, fittings, or water pressure
    • modifications, tampering, or use with non-HAPI components
  • HAPI makes no guarantees regarding performance outcomes, as results may vary depending on water quality, household plumbing, usage, and maintenance.

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantees or rights you may have under Australian Consumer Law, which cannot be excluded.

11) Indemnity

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless HAPI, its directors, officers, employees, contractors, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, losses, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising directly or indirectly from:

  • your misuse, improper installation, or unauthorised modification of HAPI products
  • your failure to follow instructions, warnings, or maintenance guidelines
  • your breach of these Terms & Conditions
  • any claim made by a third party relating to your use of HAPI products

This indemnity survives termination of your use of the website or products.

12) Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The most current version will always be available on our website. Continued use of the site constitutes acceptance of any updates.

13) Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia, and any disputes will be handled by Australian courts.
